   A Classic – The Little PrinceI was prompted to purchase The Little Prince because of the recent death of my beloved father and an interpretation from the book which I have always adored which reminds me of him: “When you look up at the sky at night, since I will be living on one of them, since I will be laughing on one of them, for you it will be as if all of the stars are laughing. You’ll have stars that can laugh!”Although considered a children’s book by many, The Little Prince is truly a timeless literary work for all ages. Only 83 pages in length with endearing illustrations, it is the charming and simple story of an interplantary traveler who meets a pilot in a remote desert. This traveler, or The Little Prince, shares his deep knowledge of the universe as he knows it. The author of The Little Prince was a real-life French pilot who wrote this book in America when his country was occupied during the World War. Magic comes to life just as it is supposed to be in reality. Wishes are granted. Other species, like animals and roses, can communicate with humans and vice versa. Of course, kings are what they appear to be in real life: utterly useless, devoid of humor and clueless!Written to remind us of the child in all of us, The Little Prince is a beloved classic guaranteed to inspire, capture our hearts, and (perhaps) tug at our hearts. For those with small children: it is a G-rated book. The ending is sad though as The Little Prince has to leave Earth.Read full review…

   The Little PrinceThe Little Prince is a wonderful story about the Art of Friendship. It lets you understand where some folks find value. This book was given to me 12 years ago by a wonderful woman I met a few times.    All Time Fave!!!This is a wonderful book to read as a child and with your children. My mom read it to me numerous times when I was little and I have read it a few with my 8 & 9 yr old girls. It is a fun adventure with lessons about love and friendship to a young child and it is a touching statement of the fragility of our human state when read as an adult. I highly recomend reading this book alloud. It usually takes 2-3 nights to finish it. Enjoy!Read full review…
